Abstract: The origins of Byzantine secular music exhibit multiple characteristics. First, it was rooted in the musical theories and performance practices of ancient Greece and Rome. As history progressed, the ancient Greek region became the core area of the Byzantine Empire, with its musical culture serving as the primary source of Byzantine secular music. Simultaneously, the Byzantines' self-identification as "Romeans" naturally led to the inheritance of Roman musical instruments and musical styles. Second, the formation of the Byzantine secular music system was profoundly influenced by Christian musical concepts. Although Christian theology clearly distinguished between church music and secular music, the imperial centralized governance and emperor-centered social structure determined that these cultural differences "were not opposing forces but complementary elements." Finally, during its development, Byzantine secular music absorbed musical cultures from neighboring regions, ultimately forming a rich and unique system. The diversity of Byzantine secular music reflects the multifaceted nature of Byzantine culture, encompassing both theoretical considerations and practical aspects. Abstract: Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect, China's economic, trade, and cultural cooperation with Southeast Asia has continued to deepen, driving a surge in demand for Chinese language learning in Southeast Asia. The total number of Chinese language learners in the region has exceeded 12 million, and the number of Chinese language students studying in China has increased by an average of 15% annually, reaching a total of 324,000 in 2023. However, current Chinese language teaching for Southeast Asian international students still focuses on "grammar indoctrination" and "rote copying of Chinese characters," which is difficult to adapt to the diverse native language backgrounds and pragmatic learning motivations of international students. This article, based on generational theory and cultural economics, constructs a theoretical framework from "emotional devotion" to "value co-creation" by qualitatively analyzing investment motives, models, and objectives. Abstract: To reveal the associative mechanism between college students' short-video use and learning burnout in the digital era, this study, based on the Social Comparison Theory, the Two-dimensional Model of Envy, and the Three-dimensional Model of Learning Burnout, employed thematic analysis to conduct semi-structured interviews with 6 full-time college students. The focus was on the interactive relationship among short-video usage behaviors, the triggering process of social comparison, and the experience of learning burnout. The findings show: (1) College students' short-video use is characterized by "duration differentiation (high duration: 5-8 hours/day vs. medium-low duration: 2-4 hours/day), concentrated timing (mainly before sleep), fragmented contexts, and inefficient management". (2) Short videos primarily trigger upward social comparison in dimensions of academic achievement, material conditions, and physical appearance. Emotional responses are dominated by benign envy, and the intensity and persistence of online comparison are significantly weaker than offline comparison. (3) Short videos have a "double-edged sword" effect on learning burnout-planned intermittent use in the short term can supplement psychological resources to alleviate burnout, while unmanaged excessive use in the long term consumes attentional resources to exacerbate burnout. This article, approaching data privacy cases from a fundamental rights perspective, draws on the Civil Code and the Personal Information Protection Law as normative support, and draws on a sample of 576 judicial cases to systematically analyze the adjudication logic of data privacy cases. Abstract: Amid the global energy crisis and carbon reduction goals, electric vehicles(EVs) have emerged as a key pathway for sustainable mobility. This study, based on perceived risk theory, constructs a perceived risk–purchase decision process's to examine how functional, financial, safety, time, social and psychological risks affect EV purchase intention. Using survey and empirical analysis, results show that functional, financial, and time risks significantly reduce purchase intention, with functional and financial risks being the most critical. Safety risk affects evaluation stages but has limited impact on final decisions, while social and psychological risks are not significant. Electric vehicle consumers place greater emphasis on practicality and are more sensitive to time risks.
